Applications:

  • SV6105 is ideal for general fabrication applications. Excellent deposition rates due to metal powder technology.

  • Seamless tubular technology and copper coating ensures very low weld metal hydrogen levels (<3ml/100g) coupled with excellent current tip transfer. Excellent welder appeal with low spatter levels and no surface slag formation meaning no removal required.

  • Recommend for the welding of mild/medium tensile steels up to grade 50D, having a tensile strength of ~500 N/mm2, Lloyds A and E ship steel, BS1449 plate and sheet.

Applications:

  • SV6121 is a rutile, flux cored wire with a rapidly solidifying slag. Easily controllable weld pool, excellent welding properties in all positions. This allows all-position welding with high currents, consequently yielding a high deposition rate.

  • Seamless tubular technology & copper coating ensures very low weld metal hydrogen levels (<3ml/100g) coupled with excellent current tip transfer. Excellent welder appeal including deslag and low spatter levels.

  • Ideal for high integrity offshore applications, weathering steel and general fabrication where service requirements require impact properties down to -60°C. Designed for use in all positions and is particularly easy to use vertically up and overhead.

  • Lot class T3 available on request, as per AWS A5.01:2019.

SV6121-Mo

  • SV6121-Mo is a rutile, 1.5Ni-0.1Mo, flux cored wire. Easily controllable weld pool, excellent welding properties in all positions. This allows all-position welding with high currents, consequently yielding a high deposition rate.

  • Unique manufacturing technology ensures very low weld metal hydrogen levels (<3ml/100g). Excellent welder appeal including deslag and low spatter levels.

  • Ideal for high integrity offshore/defence applications where service requirements require impact properties down to -50°C. Meets the requirements and is approved for HY100 material, Def Stan 02-769, 02-770 part 2 standards.

Applications:

  • SV6603ER is a rutile, precision layer wound, seamless, copper coated, flux cored wire with a rapidly solidifying slag. Easily controllable weld pool, excellent welding properties, very high deposition rate. Typical weld metal hydrogen levels <5ml/100g.

  • Suitable for welding 2%Cr, 1%Mo and 0.5%Cr 0.25%V creep-resisting steels in high integrity applications such as power generation and low temperature service. Scaling and creep resistance to 600°C.
